Kate Gomez MooreKate Gomez Moore discovered her love of dance starting at the age of two in her early childhood homes of Chicago and Costa Rica. Once settled in Colorado, she trained at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities for ten years until she moved to Fort Worth to study dance at Texas Christian University. Kate graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Modern Dance and a minor in Arts Administration in 2019. While at TCU, Kate performed in works choreographed by faculty and guest artists Abby Zbikowski, Dance Exchange (Liz Lerman, Matthew Cumbie), Joy Atkins-Bollinger, Jordan Fuchs, Susan Douglas Roberts, and Suki John. Additionally, she performed at the American College Dance Association festival in a selected work⁠—Quintet Variations with Weather, choreographed by Jordan Fuchs.  Participating in the Texas Dance Improvisation Festival and studying dance for a semester in London, England at the University of Roehampton  were both integral in shaping Kate’s artistry. Kate choreographed and produced two works at TCU: “&” and Reconciling Belonging. Currently residing in Colorado, Kate works as the dance program director at the Arts HUB and has been dancing as a company member with T2 Dance Company since October 2019.
