She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wyoming with her BFA in Dance Performance and BS in Business Management with an emphasis on Entrepreneurship. In 2016, she furthered her studies abroad in London at renowned institutions including The Place, Pineapple, DanceWorks, and Studio 68. Before graduating in December of 2018, she brought works to the American College Dance Association and performed pieces by Jennifer Deckert, Marsha Knight, Maurice Watson, Margaret Wilson, and Aaron Wood.
Killian has trained with The Limon Company, Repertory Dance Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Ririe-Woodbury, Joffrey Ballet, Dance Kaleidoschope, Boston Ballet, and Paul Taylor Dance Company. One of Killian’s favorite roles involved touring Wyoming and South Dakota with Jennifer Deckert’s “Dracula—The Legend in Motion” as Countess Dracula. She also had the unique opportunity to perform Margaret Wilson’s “Dancing Between Earth and Sky,” a vertical dance show set on the large rock formations of the Vedauwoo Recreation Area in 2018.
To kick-off her professional career, Killian joined Denver’s Hannah Kahn Dance Company in July 2019 and continues to perform with the company. When she is not rehearsing or performing, she teaches at Joyful Soles Dance & Performing Arts and Redemption Dance Ministries. She hopes to use dance to improve the lives of those around her. She strives to inspire her audiences, instill confidence in her students, provide opportunities for expression, and keep dance relevant and accessible. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with T2 Dance Company alongside so many talented artists.
